The N9TE (86-87) and N9TEA (88-89) are the same block and head. the
extra A is for electronically controlled boost (small electrovalve
which alters boost pressure dependant upon multiple variables). The
N9TEA also was supposed to come with a larger turbocharger but i've
seen multiple N9TEA's with the N9TE turbo.
There are markings on the exhaust housing of the turbo if you are
selling that with it. The A/R .48 is originally for the N9TEA, and the
A/R .36 was for the N9TE.
