I am entertaining the possibility of re-torquing my XN6 cylinder head
(84 505 STI) to 65 ft. lbs. (from 60 ft. lbs.). I am uncertain as to
whether I should: a)without doing anything, simply just re-set the
wrench to 65 and go through the sequence or b) loosen all the bolts and
start from scratch, or c) loosen one bolt at a time and then run it up
to 65 ft. lbs.
If anyone out there has any head re-torquing expertise that they would
like to share with me I would appreciate their setting me straight as
to what (a, b, or c) I should do.
Thanks,
Ken
