I started learning lighting seriously in the 70s, when I was doing stage
rallies.
In 85 I bought a mailorder business that specialized in performance
lighting.

This is impossible.
The H4 has 2 critically sized and placed filaments, 1 for high beam and 1
for dipped/low beam.
The HID capsule has an arc that can not replace the straight filaments of
the H4 and produce proper optics.
