OK, I did a search back to 1999 and found no answer. So, before I go
and tear more stuff apart, can someone please tell me how I'm supposed
to get to the heater hoses attached to the core to replace them? I've
taken all the other hoses off for replacement (including fuel) but
these two (the one from the block and the one from the water pump
area) I can't take off as they are behind the firewall. Do I need to
take the heater out completely to change them? If so, how is this done?
This car sat inside a garage in Phoenix Arizona for ~15 years and so I
want to replace all the "rubber" I can get to.
BTW - can I even get OEM hoses and belts for this, or do I need to
"fabricate" my own? Thanks for the help.
ONe other thing, is there a cross over fuel filter for this model or
should I hunt down an OEM?
