I placed the links for Sasi as he asked for a source.
I do not have my 405 any more so am not able to look at the assembly. As for 505's I have drive a wagon that belonged to friends on several occasions but have never worked on them.
The sites I have indicated are easily contactable via email and I have always found them to be happy to answer questions.
In addition I am sure many on the list are far more able to look at the item and say yes it is or no it is not the interchangable stalk.
I sold my 405 6 months ago and the 206 is in the body shop as my wife crashed it on ice last thusday.
I did think I was going to be Peugeotless permenantly for the first time in 11 years.
Sorry I am not able to answer the question direct. If you want I can try phoning the parts people indicated to ask the question.

Parts 4 Peugeot list the part about £30, Eurocarparts is giving me a hard time it may be my new Internet security software blocking cookies but will have to check that later.
