Loaned my '91 wagon to a friend and he rear ended someone last week. At this point, I have decided to let this one go rather than repair it. Here are the details:
LOCATION: Manassas, VA (30 miles south west of Washington DC)
year: 1991
mileage: 123K
color: grey
engine: engine/head rebuilt when car had 95K on it by previous owner.
interior: excellent, no dash cracks, seat or headliner tears.
body/exterior: other than front passenger side damage, the body is great with no rust.
all glass is good. all electricals work fine.
tires are average with rears better than the fronts.
transmission is in great shape;
car had ujoint replaced 2 months ago.
brakes are newer and exhaust is fine.
(I have a spare Peugeot exhaust from the cat back for this car which I will throw in)
AC works
DAMAGE DETAILS:
hood, grille, condenser fan, raidiator, right headlight (euro) and cooling fan have sustained damage. No damage to the frame or streeing/suspension. These parts will probably have to be replaced.
The car starts and runs, but leaks coolant as the radiator is pushed into the cooling fan and has probably cracked. The radiator may be repairable. Along with the radiator, the top radiator support is also pushed in about 4 inches.
Price:
$ 850
can send front damage pictures on request
