I'd suggest a close modern BMW, or Mercedes Benz silver. I'd also look at
paining some of the stock black trim and accents silver to modernize the car
a little. Nothing garish - just subtle things.
$3400 is a fair chunk of change - so make sure to ask for references of some
of their customers and check them out. Make sure to check on paint jobs on
cars that a few years old too if possible. If the car is rust free though
- it might not be much of a concern - just make sure they use top notch
materials.

thanks to T.J. in Seattle for replacing my hood, trunk and fixing my
fenders last weekend.
*the wood pile in the garage fell on the car so it's being 'redone'.
since I'm no expert any advice is appreciated on the re-paint. A
place in Victoria B.C. is doing the whole thing for 3400$ Canadian
including fixing rear bumper, repaint bumpers etc...
should the window trim be replaced since they have to take it all out
to repaint it apparently. Can I even get the trim anywhere? It's in
pretty good shape actually but since they have to take it out anyhow.
any color ideas? it has to be silver of some sort
