I'm helping someone with a 89 405 Mi16 that has odd problem with the idle.
MOST of the time, the idle is high (2500-3500). we've tried probably 4
(used) idle control valves and the problem is unchanged.
when its not idling high, it's idling super low.
(the problem is unchanged if the car is cold or hot)
any ideas or experiences?
