I was sorta shocked that no one responded on our excellent condition STX with
new paint and nice leather, mechanically fine shape, for 1500.00 was that too
high a price? ive seen junkers with RUST go for 500..........I thought
peugeot guys would be clammering for one........are there alot of nice V6's out
there? ie are they a dime a dozen?
funny how late '80's Volvo 240's are going for 4grand...(nice ones) perhaps
becausse there are still Volvo dealers in the us I bet.
Seriously guys, we need to move this puppy. We have a two car garage a small
driveway and a:
'04 Ford F250 CrewCab Short Bed XLT Powerstroke.
'01 VW Beetle TDi
'02 Volvo V70XC Cross Country.
'97 Volvo 940 Wagon.
'97 Hyundai Elantra Wagon...125,000 new timing belt all sythetic fluids and
maintain.......asking 995.00
'94 Buick Roadmaster Estate Wagon, MINT except for a couple of minor dings,
NO rust, set up for HD Towing, Hypertech Power Programmer,Hypertech 160degree
thermostat. 154,000,cared for all sythetic......towed 5000lb Airstream, TransGo
shift Kit, front rear sway bars, K&N Filter. asking 4grand.
and our last Peugeot the '87 STX 2.8i V6, new rear rotors two years ago, all
new pads. ice cold a/c nice leather (always lexol our leather interiors every
6mos. new starter, two tires are MXV4plus, at about say 50,000, others reg
MXV4 with perhaps 75,000 on them. super nice leather except for drivers seat
bolstor getting worn.
slight small crack in dash bump.....but might get that fixed.......never
driven in winter since we have owned in.....bought off ex Peugeot deal in Oct '97
for 500.00
had head gasket planed resealed (over 1200.00) had trans fluid changed to
synthetic, and of course 3,000mile Mobil One Oil changes. New paint job, same
factory dark gray metallic....2,000.00 Always bring car to Reggia (the Mechanic)
and Tom the "Peugeot Servce Manager" at Reynolds Peugot at Hamburg Cove, (Old
Lyme, CT)
so there you have it, we need to get rid of Hyundai, Buick, and the Peugeot
STX V6
