Since converting my 85 505S TD to WVO (waste vegetable oil) in Sept 05
I have now accumulated 11,000 trouble free mile. Just had an emissions
test with 2.7% opacity. I have been getting 245 to 275 MPG on diesel in
the winter months and this will go up with the coming warm weather due
to faster switchover times. If any of you are interested in converting
your's you should contact me as I will be producing a kit that is made
specifically for the 505 and 604 TD's that can be installed in under 5
hours. It will heat the WVO to coolant temp and switchover times is
approx 2 to 3 miles at 20F cold start. If you are in the area and would
like to see my system please contact me off list.

and drives great. This has been my daily driver for the past 6 years
until I switched to WVO. Recent Mobil I and filter, Redline synthetic
in transmission and diff. Custom stainless exhaust. Tinted windows. $600
86 505S XN6 5 spd sedan. 150K, maroon w gray cloth interior, rusted
through hole in trunk wheel well. Car had extremely low emissions when
I bought it but had a leaky clutch master cyl. I installed a brand new
cyl and that also leaked so I never registered it and there it sat for
many years. Engine cranks but does not start. I'm sure it's some minor
electrical problem. I have no interest in it anymore. Makes a great
parts car (eng and transmission should be exc) or can be made into a
dependable driver with a little bit of work. $300
