My recently acquired 1994 405 GLD has everything working in it and
except from some rattles in the front driver's door, the rest of the
rattles and squeaks seem justified for a 11 year old car. However,
there are two things that I want help for:
- Both the thermostat fan and the A/C fan, though working, make a
fair racket when they come on (especially the A/C fan, which makes a
huge racket). So mush so that the whole car seems to vibrate. When
asked, the expert who had the car with him said that he has replaced
the motor in the fan with a more powerful one and that since it is
new, it is making the noise. He has assured that after a few hundred
kms, it will quieten down. Is this true? If not, how can I make the
fan work quieter?
- The A/C on switch is missing. Does anyone have one which can be
sent to me by normal sea mail?
Thanks..
