Saw the damndest thing in the Pick-A-Part yard up in Sun Valley (L.A.
area) today.
It's a 505 wagon, XN6 (IIRC), sort of a Band-Aid colour. So far, so
normal. Here's the weird part: it's been cut down into a 4-door pickup
and badged a 550.
The bed area was clearly created by hacking off the roof rear of the
C-pillar, but the rear window 'assembly' (for want of a better term) was
made out of wood. The same wood continued down the rear of the vehicle
across the top of the bed walls back to the taillights.
Unfortunately I wasn't able to grab any pictures, but was wondering if
anyone locally recognised it. Sadly it's in the part of the yard where
there's no hope of ever getting it out again.
