Hi everyone,
I am planning to fit a CD changer to my stock Clarion C-Bus compatible
head unit. There is no problem in fitting a compatible 6 CD changer. But
was thinking of putting a 12 CD changer instead (Clarion, C-Bus
compatible). The question is - will I be able access discs 7-12 from my
head unit / steering remote? Any ideas?
One more query, how resistant are CD changers (and CDs in the magazines)
to ambient temperature. It reaches 45-48 Celsius in summer here in
Delhi. Will the changer be cooler in the boot, or on the rear shelf.
BTW, I had a broken power antenna. The motor and the electronics were
working, and i managed to use this to make a "power" rear window blind.
It works like a dream - like any power antenna, it opens the blind when
the ignition is switched on (keeping the window clear when driving), and
closes the blind when it is switched off (keeping it cool when parked).
Will post some pictures soon .
