My 84 505 has, and has had, its lights (instrument, heater control,
clock) flickering for quite some time. Someone suggested a failing
alternator, but this thing has been going on for two years.
Just yesterday a light (not a flickering one) went off in my head and
I theorized that it must be the rheostat that is the problem. Might
that be true or might there be some ground that is not well grounded?
If it is a ground and not the rheostat, where might that ground be
connected and is the wire numbered?
Thanks,
Ken
