Peat, the poor mileage I get with an XN6 has nothing to do with speedo accuracy, it has more to do with the position of the right foot of the nut behind the wheel. I never measured in MPG what I was getting, I just know it cost more for the same trip. With the same car, my wife and daughter can go twice as far on a tank of gas than I do. The higher gearing of the final drive coupled with a more powerfull engine in the turbo and V6 is what makes the difference, they don't work as hard as an XN6 to get where I'm going.
