Hey guys,

Short time ago I posted looking for a source on these for my 85 505TD. (I accidently broke one during cleaning and pop testing). I got one response telling me to contact Disortex, which I am waiting to hear back from. In the absence of any info provided to me, I set about trying to find what I could.. I figure the least I could do is share what lilttle I found with the group and also maybe get a reply on this info from you parts fiche guys. This is all culled from the internet, some bosch docs and my workshop manuals. * denotes not confirmed, but best guesstimate

XD2, XD2c,XD2s 80,81 Engines - Bosch DN0SD1510, 0434250100 - PG 198417 120bar

XD2s 82->84 - DN0SD251, 252** - 0434250108 - PG198422,28 150bar **(note:my 85TDr is fitted with these, but an XD3T engine)

XD3T 85,86 -DN0SD260, 0434250109 150bar

XD3T 87 - DN0SD265, 0434250128 - This nozzle is also used on Mercedes and fairly common though there is some question about nozzles manufactured outside of Germany and France. Does anyone know what, if any, changes occured to the XD3T engine from model yr 86->87 that would warrant a change in nozzle? I'm considering just going with these but am cautious about running vehicle with non-spec nozzles. If they didn't really change anything, then this seems like the best route to take.

I hope this will prove helpful to future diesel owners. I'm wondering if anyone can confrim any of this info or add to it. I've been having some problems with my vehicle that might be related to my injectors (will describe in seperate post) and I will caution people against running the wrong type of nozzle. That's what I had to do for the last month or so, using a 1510 nozzle that I had laying around. If you want to check out the type of coking that occurs because of this, folow these links.

I might add, that it's times like these that I miss our dearly departed peugeot experts, particularly Jacques and Peugeot Pete even more, not just because of their extensive knowledge, but because I recall how much they rellished looking up this sort of information for me (and the rest of you).

sorry for my lack of brevity...not my strong point. good day.
-Tony
