The 4 flashes are according to the book either bad ecu or bad detonation sensors.
I tried both without success
I phoned PMA, the resident expert said often 4 flashes is the result
of a throttle body that needs resetting/calibrating.
I put on a low mileage used one and when that didn't correct the 4 flashes I went through the
throttle body and reset it all.
That was 2 years ago it is still flashiong 4 times every 30 seconds
you'ld think the damn bulb would burn out
The car does and always has run reasonably well
