The suggestion to bypass tachymetric relay to a properly fused sufficient
amperage circuit that comes on with the key as proposed by Phil with the
mindfart email address is really a bad idea - the whole reason there is
such a thing as a tachymetric relay in the first place is to insure that if
the engine quits (as in a serious accident) the fuel pump stops pumping.
Otherwise you may have fuel spewing out somewhere at 70psi (or whatever the
rating is) all over the place and possibly starting and/or fueling a major
fire. This is a very bad idea - don't do it. Tom Woods
