Yep - no gimmick. (Well the "increasing fuel mileage is a stretch but Brian
addressed that nicely)
Biggest thing was also addressed by Brian - temperature doesn't affect tire
pressure, and altitude doesn't affect it either. So you get to keep your
tires at the optimum pressure all the time.
Worked for the race teams at Pike's Peak - good enough for me.
$5 a tire is a complete rip off though - several tire shops up here do it
for free.
