Hi everyone,
Since I bought my pug 405 gri estate 1.8 petrol I have squealing
brakes.
I changed the drums, front disks, pads but nothing helped. Longest
time they can carry on is 3-4 mounts or 3-4k miles. All components
are far from the parameters stated to be worn out.
Since I changed the front pads myself a year ago the front brakes
developed and new quite annoying click especially when I park or
make sometimes 90deg turn, or move forward or reverse slowly and
press the brake (there is a click definitely on the right side, for
the left I cant hear anything),
It sounds as the pads are loose or there is something wrong with the
suspension. When I check them everything appears to be fine, there
is no anything loose or wobbly.
The mechanic I use sad everything is fine, but somehow I don't
believe it. I changed the shocks top mounting. The mechanic insisted
that the balljoint are fine, although I bought already a set.
There are two things I can come with:
1. The rubber springs protecting the guide pins.
2. The cylinder or I suspect it comes with replacing the
callipers.
Can anyone give me advice?
