Hi all, firstly many thanks for all advice re: air con, I haven't had
much time to look at it since, but will in due course, sounds like a
recharge may be the thing to do.
Another question, my 405 TD alternator has packed up, I have a spare
but from a 605 Petrol 2.0. The physical size is exactly the same and
the bolt holes line up. The only obvious problem is that the 605 has a
B+ post only (maybe a small spade to).
My original has a B+ and a D+ (both B and D take a heavy gauge wire (I
think one post may have two wires), there is also a spade 'A' but there
doesnt seem to be anything connected to it.
any thoughts on using 605 alternator on 405?
