[Peugeot-L] glass etching/staining mystery solved

I found a product that took the--nothing takes it off -- staining on all of my glass. It is an odd acid based paste liquid with fine pumice bought at a commercial glass shop. Lots of rubbing but it worked and absolultely nothing else did....16$ for about 2 pints!. But I was glad to have it.

I don't know the name of it --not a retail product at all....if needed let me know.

Now that I got the outside rears clean I see one of them is toasted from the inside so if anyone has one for the drivers side I'd be interested
