I am new to the group, although I have been an occaisional reader
over the past few years since I purchased a beloved 1991 505 SW8.
I am only the second or third owner of this car; the vehicle was
purchased from a pennsylvania dealer who had originally sold the
vehicle new and then serviced and taken good care of the vehicle
since then.
I love this car! However, I live in New York City, and as parking
rates have gone up and my family has grown, and our trips are
limited to long excursions out of the city, I am sadly ready to
sell this vehicle. It has a new clutch (only a year or so old),
new tires (last week), and runs like a charm. Very reliable.
Typical NYC minor dings, but overall very good condition
on the outside; I keep it in a garage. Interior is more or less
excellent except for the driver's side carpet which has normal
wear for 192,000 miles. Blue book value is $1290 but i have
had better offers recently.
Two questions:
>What's a fair price to ask for this car?
>Anyone interested in buying it?
Thanks!
