Folks,
Due to a major change in circumstances, I'm about to lose parking for my
'89 Mi16. Right now I can't afford to garage it, so would like to see
it go to a fellow enthusiast. Details:
- White with red leather.
- The only mark in the leather is a patchable tear approximately 1.5" in
the drivers' side seat bolster.
- 177,000 miles, but runs well and had the engine rebuilt around the
107,000 mark. Stays cool even in summer LA traffic.
The Pros:
- Alpine CDA-7893 AM/FM/CD/MP3 player and Infinity 6012I speakers all
around.
- NO RUST. This is a Southern California car, so it's rot-free.
- New ignition coil. The old one finally gave up in January.
- Lotsa bills for this one. I'll have to dig them out, but I do have
them.
The Cons:
- Needs a sunroof cable. The motor's fine, but the sunroof can't open
or close itself without manual assistance.
- Control PCB (the one at the back of the dials) for the HVAC system is
shot. A/C was ice-cold before it took a dump, and still comes on - it
just can't blow.
- There are minor dents along the driver's side caused by a deer running
into it. Nothing major, but they are there.
All in all, I want $1500 firm for it and would really prefer to deal
with someone here rather than J. Random eBay bidder. If you're
interested, please drop me a note off-list.
Oh, I'm also offloading my 1977 Renault 5 (LeCar) at the same time.
