505 diesel wagons are all turbocharged, and automatic only; 3-speed in '84
and '85, 4-speed in '86.. I have a nice '84 S and a very rusty '84 S, both
black.
504 diesel wagons are not turbocharged unless modified, and 4 speed manual
'74-'76; from '77-83 4-speed manual or 3-speed auto. I have three 504
wagons which have some promise.
