[Peugeot-L] "Stumbling" or "bucking" ZDJL

Folks,

I just purchased an '88 SW8. I'm a sucker for the '88 wagon with a 5 spd and this one had been recently renovated; new paint, new oem exhaust system, etc. 98k and a nice interior. OnI'm a sucker for a pretty (Pinin) face and bought it impulsively... (My daily driver '88 wgn was rescued from the weeds and has over 230k miles, parts from 5 donors plus heavily OnOnoxidized paint...)

Anywho, when driving the new car it every so often stumbles or bucks. Much as though you'd just quickly turned the ignition on and off. It's happened on level driving and slight uphills. I haven't noticed it happening, yet, coasting or on downhills...

On my daily driver I had a similar issue, not as abrupt; more just intermittent rough running, that was resolved by replacing the oxygen sensor. The new car supposedly had a new sensor installed along with the exhaust system.

Any thoughts, advice welcomed.
