Hi group,
I was lucky to fide glow plugs for my 78 504 deisel wagon here locally,
(thanks every one who helped/offered me there stash). After installing
glow plugs, cleaning and replacing air filter, fuel filter and rubber
rings, a few things have popped up.
1. I cant seam to prime with the hand pump even though I replaced
o-rings and seals and pump it many many times(pored deisel in the
filter and bowl.
2. Seams to have suction and pressure in the unit, when I unscrew
the bolt I can hear a hiss.
3. The glow plug light does not come on until I start to crank the
care over.
Any possible things that I may have done or missed?
One again, thanks to the wonderful world of Internet forum group for
all the knowledge everyone contributes.
