Brian, the removal of the valve cover looks worst than it is. The vacuum
lines to the EGR have to be disconnected, undo the two nuts holding the
expansion tank and clips holding the hoses, with the cap on tight, lift the
tank and shove over to the driver's, all those hoses out of the way without
disconnecting any of them. The A/C hose has enough slack to be able to lift
the cover and slide it out of the way. Usually takes less than an hour to do
the valve adjustment on a diesel, not counting the 6 hrs min. cooling time
