Generally speaking any 2, 3,or 4 wire oxygen sensor should work. The
differences between them are simply the number of ground wires (0, 1,
or 2). A one wire unit would probably work, but it lacks the heater.
A heater-less unit will set off the MIL on an OBD2 car, and probably
will set off the MIL on an OBD1 car (which I suspect the Mi16 is).
The ones that you want to watch out for (the ones that won't work in
an Mi16) are the odd ball titania sensors (most use zirconia
elements), and the wideband sensors. Thankfully both the titania and
the wideband sensors tend to be quite pricey in comparison.
