Since you brought it up, I will show you some excerpts from a correspondence to the last person who sent me this chain letter. I will chop my reply as the one I sent earlier did not appear to make it past the moderator.

"This is nonsense. Why would Americans ignore the energy crisis?"

He argues that he was only kidding. I came back with this:

"Yeah but I mean the message itself is bull.

The sad part is my friends who are not so Internet savvy as you and I, send these as their only correspondence. Some people have not figured how to compose an email, and they think that these chain letters will put them in the clique."
