[Peugeot-L] language

Language is ever in flux and never more so than now. New words are emerging and old words are being revived. I got a letter a couple weeks ago about shit. Apparently it was an anacronym for manure in transit on ships to designate a potentially explosive when humidified cargo. Old words are combined to communicate meaning when we have words already that more than adequately do the job.
But new ones get past the morality police. What exactly is a "dick wad" or what does "frickin'" mean? We all know all know what a "prick" is ....putz. All of these expressions are used in regularly on primetime network TV. Then there is cable! I can use non-cuss words to communicate what is happen on sat TV channels 490-499.

Have you written to you congressman to complain about Tony Sopranos foul mouth?

The average 5 year old has already seen 38,921 murders on TV before he hits kindergarten yet when Janet Jackson's obscured nipple appears at the Super Bowl it's a Federal case.

God forbid that 5 year old see an act on consensual sex between 2 adults of the opposite sex he or she might be scarred for life.

We run a squeaky clean list here well I'm at a loss for words.
