Hi,
I've just joined this list hoping to tap the resources of other folks interested in Peugeot's
out there. I'm currently driving a '94 Mercedes E320, but I'm a bit sick of the loan note I
have on it, and the expense to insure myself on it. Lately I've been looking into getting a
Peugeot. My uncle used to race 505's on the IMSA endurance circuit, and I always liked
the look and handling of the cars.
Here's the only rub... these cars are incredibly hard to come by, and almost impossible to
find in decent condition cosmetically and mechanically. I've been scouring eBay and
Craigslist everyday.
I'd hoped that perhaps some of you could point me in a better direction, or may in fact
yourselves have one of these cars for sale. Also, just as an aside, I'd really love to get my
hands on a 206 or 106 GTI, but I haven't the faintest idea how one goes about getting one
into the US, nor if it's worth doing so.
I'm located in Washington State, but more than willing to travel to get the car if it seems
worthwhile. I like that these cars can be had for cheap, run great, are fun to drive, and are
a little unique... at least here in the states :)
Thanks!
-Nathan
