I have seen this model but never worked on it.
I would start by checking the fuses and relays.
If I was at home I would have links to wiring diagrams but am at work.
From the description of your problem it is both windows so it has to be something common to the supply or return path.
Each window will have it own motor and switch and the chances of both failing at the same time are slim.

Subject: Window Problem
I have a Peugeto 306 of 1997; the front windows of the car are
electrical and suddenly they stop working meaning I can not open or close them.
Does anybody know how to fix this problem.
