Hello everybody,
I've got a substantial brake fluid loss from underneath the master
cylinder in my '88 505 V6 STX. The car shop wants to put in a new ABS
unit/assembly. Is this thing un-repairable, i.e., a rubber gasket
fails and one has to buy a $2,500 part to get the car going again?
Also, anyone has ever had ABS changed to non-ABS? How much can I
expect to pay a shop for that operation. Thanks.
