there is rumour that there is some bashing out of the tunnell required to
get the
BA10/5 into the SW
but the 4hp22 is longer...the new rear mount would have to be moved back
not where the current mount is and then there is the matter of all the 10
mm studs that
are part of the body
then you need a longer drive shaft and torque tube
and how about the diff ratios
I know the 2.5 L TD 5 spd diff and the 5 spd turbo gas diff are the same
and then there is the consol is all different if you SW is an 85 or older
It seems to me that the easiest way to end up with what you want i.e. 1986
TD SW
is to buy as new and as good a Turbo gas SW with a bad engine..there sould
be lots
and put the diesel engine in
You will only need to change the bellhousing
