[Peugeot-L] Making an XD3T SW

It is actually a good plan
And may well work for me also
I'd never really thought about it before but it is the perfect solution for a blown turbo SW
The thing that will be in short supply will be the TD to 4hp22 bellhousings I have a factory in the box rebuilt 3hp22 for a TD but I like the rear mount that the 86 and newer automatic SWs use You don't have to pull the inside of the car apart to change a trans and it feels better to drive for some reason When you do this job take a good look at the bushings in the mount they do go to shit
Good luck

The TD and Turbo use the same motor mounts and maybe even the airfilter uses the same mounts
The Turbo gas SW would be the best to use as the trans is beefier than the XN6 or ZDJL versions of the 4hp22 and the diff ratios would probably be closer

So upon further investigation it turns out that the following SW all share the same 9 X 37 gears
XN6 w/3hp22, N9T w/4hp22 and the XD3T w/4hp22

I can't believe that the TD is best with the 4.11 rear end I've had a few 3hp22 SWs and they are always borderline screaming at 70-75 mph
I'm not sure what the overdrive gear is in the 4hp22 it would help no doubt the XD2S 3hp22 SW used a 3.45 rear end with the extra 18 hp out of the XD3T I would think that the 3.45 would be my choice ..fortunately I have one. The XN6 5 spd SW diff is a 3.77
the ZDJL 4hp22 SW diff is about a 4.75
the XN6 4hp22 SW diff is about 4.62

So definitely go with a turbo gas SW body and power train to start and if the gearing is too low
try 3.77 or even the 3.45 diff.
