Hi everyone,
I need your help please. When my car is in the off position the
battery light stays on and the alternator is HOT. Now let me say
that
I have no igition and I start the car by having a wire from the
starter to the steering colum and connected to a switch and push
button. I've been using this method for over a year now and all of
the sudden the battery light stays on when the car is off. When I
come out to start the car the battery is dead. My husband just
relized yesterday when trying to fix the problem that with the car
dead the alternator is very hot. Go Figure. I hope I have provided
you with enought information to give me a solution.
