[Peugeot-L] 1977 V6 604

I will go monday to look at a 1977 V6 604 for sale for US$600 (really cheap for down here). Owner says car is perfect, except for a broken auto Ontransmission....

Should that be the same ZF3HP22 as later 505s? of is it a different beast?

Were those sold in the US? Are there parts and manuals for that avaliable?
