The gas turbo alternater will not fit the V6. It is physically larger. The
alternator from any other gas 505 will work without
modification. Motorola/Valeo alternators from a diesel will work if you
use the gas pulley. Bosch and Paris-Rhone diesel alternators have the
adjuster ear in the wrong position.
