Hello,
I haven't sold the SW8 yet, so today the alternator suddenly started
singing, the light glowing slightly while at idle. Three times in the last month the
light had glowed longer than it should when I started the car. The
alternator was rebuilt last year and has 30,000 miles on it.
Just as suddenly as it had started, the "singing" stopped and the charging
system seems to be working normally.
Any checks or maintenance which could be performed before surgery?
