Does anyone know if XN6 and N9TEA are non-interference engines
(breaking a timing belt does NOT destroy valves etc.)?
Im learning my turbo's behavior and wondering: when I stomp on it
the (auto..sorry) trans kicks down but then comes back into 4th but
also seems to "lug" back into overdrive(?) and lose all the strong
pull. Is this right? Can that be an adjustment? it is a 88 with 92K
and runs well enough overall but I wouldn't know if it could be a
Onbit more neck snapping...?
Finally, any quick fixes to keep the front edge of the drivers door
from just catching the front left fender at its rear edge? No dents
or hits as far as I know to have caused it.
Leather News: Target sells Xymol...it has an umlaut over the "U" in
the name so it must be good ... ;^ ) or at least worth a try and
seems like a good product...when it finally warms up I'll try it on
a 'hot seat' per instructions and report as appropo'
Thanks
BT
