[Peugeot-L] 1989 505 SW8 ZDJL- CO2 issue

My car fails to pass the Ohio ECheck at the CRO2 level. My mechanic says that the Oxygen sensor seems to work.

I want to find a reasonable solution in terms of cost. The car runs very well ,a litlle on the rich side.
I believe we have checked all the basics. Any tip welcome. Thanks
