I had my 86' 505 Turbo lowered by cutting the springs & then rebuilt the shocks with some thicker oil for a more firmer ride, it handled fine as I remember & did'nt bounce like alot of cars with cut springs do (possibly because of the hefty Peugeot springs! It sure looked cool, a few of my friends have also done it on the pre 86' chassis, Peugeot Sport however used to sell lowering springs for it but I don't have any idea were you'd get those now.
