I had exactly the same problem on my 405 Turbo diesel. One every 2-3
days the pedal used to go down fully when I wanted to brake. Worked
perfectly after pumping it once or twice.. Very scary, and very unsafe
to let somebody somebody else drive. Brakes becam perfect after
replacing two O rings on the master cylinder plungers.
