Bolt the torque tube back up to the differential, undo the two bolts holding
the differential up, it will come down to the cross member and stay there,
support the trans mission untill it starts lifting the torque tube, undo the
four bolts holding the torque tube to the transmission. slide the torque
tube back making sure the driveshaft follows, since your on your back, you
can push on the axle shafts with your feet and watch that the driveshaft
comes out of the trans at the same time, apair of channel locks or visegrip
could help that driveshaft along. Once seperated, the differential against
the spare tire rack, you may have to pry the driveshaft back a bit to clear
the transmission housing ( its spring loaded at the differential) to leave
go up against the flloor. Lower the transmission and remove the back
housing. You do have to remove the center muffler and any hangers attached
to the torque tube before proceeding with anything else. The whole re&re
process usually takes about an hour
