[Peugeot-L] Re: Separating a Tie-rod end - how hard should this be?

   I was told not to be wailing on the suspension arm, because it is cast, and it can sometimes break.

   I loosen the nut to the top to cover the threads, soak the joint well with pb blaster, then use a good sized hammer. After it pops free, then jack from underneath just enough to take the nut the rest of the way off.
