I recenty bought a 91 SW8 wagon. It's been several years since I had a
505 wagon. nlike my turbo wagon, this one has a pretty nice suspension
and a good ride over bumps.
The tires are shot. The car has 15 inch steel wheels and those big
plastic dish Lion hubcaps.
What's the latest and greatest on tires for this? Snow doesn't matter
since I have Nokias on alloys for winter. I would like a good, safe
tire in rain and a pretty soft ride. Mechanic suggests I should stick
with the steel wheels since alloys are a stiffer ride. Make any sense?
Michelin's running some kind of sale. How about Sumitomo HTR T4 Ultra
Premium Touring P195/65R15? $60 ea at Sears.
