Hello B Jeanette,
Welcome
The fuse box has a black plastic lid (aprox. 3"X6").
It is located, under the hood, to the rear of the left inner fender, below and left of the
brake master cylinder. (left and right facing forward)
The electromagnetic clutch fan is the hub that the fan blades are attached to.
Power comes from the fuse box (w/ignition on) thru the fan relay box in front of battery
to a 3 pin sw on the rt side of the rear of the rad then a wire runs across to the engine
up to the water pump casting, in which there is an elec. brush which must contact a brass
ring on the rear of the elec mag fan hub energizes an electromagnet locking the mechanism
so that instead of freewheeling the fan is powered by the fan belt.
Take a power window sw that you know is good and substitute it around amongst the
nonworking.
It is unlikely that the stereo installer needed to be near any wiring connected to the rt turn signal.
Check fuses and bulbs with a multi meter.
If the indicator light on the dash is flashing fast one end of the car is working.
The contacts in the front turn signals are a horror story, unfixable
I've used sockets from American cars that fit the holes
Good and also cheap
You can buy an updated harness but I'll bet it's $30 a side
The sunroof cables are junk and all break well before 10 yr often way less
If it is closed leave it there new cables are $250-300 plus installation.
I've disconnected my cable and in summer I pull the linner out of the
sliding roof and open and close it manually.
I reitterate good and also cheap
The lamda light is on a milage counter every 30 K miles or however many
the light comes on. They don't last long because they are an old fashioned
single wire unheated O2 sensor. If you don't need to be smogged the engine
can run fine with it disconnect. New ones are about $30 and are easy to install.
There is a reset button in the counter (w/the short speedo cable running to it)
infront of the fuse box.

Subject: [Peugeot-L] Electrical issues on 84- 505sti
Hello Everyone!
I'm new here and I'm from the Pacific Northwest. I
picked my petite pigeon, which is what the previous
owners called it because they couldn't figure out how
to pronounce Peugeot, from the parking lot of an
expresso shop, where it was for sale.
The interior and body are in good shape and the gas
mileage is awesome. The problem stems from the fact
that the previous owner thought they were doing me a
"favor" by putting a new radio and cd system in. Well
I purchased it "as is" and when I went to pick it up
the right turn signal didn't work and the electrical
quirks have gone from down there.
I was recently informed that the "clutch fan" isn't
working, this was from a volvo shop.
Does the 505sti 84 model have a clutch fan?
My lambda light is on, now my sunroof and passenger
door window won't role down.
And where is the fuse box on this thing?
Thank you for your patience! Help (in a slightly
panicked voice)
Jeanette
