[Peugeot-L] 1976 504 D traces of oil in coolant tank

I got my 1976 504 D started for the first time after it sat in the fields for almost a year.

Found a used radiator locally. looks rusty but holds coolant.

The cooling system does hold pressure and it does not over pressurize when running. 5 minutes after shutdown the system stil has some pressure.

I take these as positive signs.

However, I did notice some oil residue in the expansion tank this morning after the engine had run for 30 minutes or so yesterday. Not a whole lot... a light film, and some oil scum on the neck of the brass expanson tank.

there is no sign of oil/coolant mixture on the dip stick however.

How worried should I be about this happening in a car that has not run for the past 1.5 years? I am hoping it will resolve after the car is run normally for a week.

  thanks
