[Peugeot-L] '89 505 interior lights

Just wondered.. has anyone had trouble with the front interior lights? Our rear ones (it's a wagon) come on with the front doors open, but there doesn't seem to be any power to the front ones... the map *or* other one. I mean it could be a simple connection somewhere, (it's not the fuse,) but it ocurred to me that the fault may lie with the delay shut-off device... (do they have one?)
